Koground BloomLab was born in 2019 inside a converted warehouse in San Francisco. Founder Lena Koval saw a gap between traditional floral apprenticeship and the rigorous, data-informed design practices used in high-end events and botanical installations.

We started with 12 students and a single curriculum. Today our alumni lead creative teams at the world's most prestigious botanical gardens, luxury hotels, and sustainable floristry brands.
